Yes, you will always be able to see the puppies' mom and dad.   At what age can the puppies have visitors? We feel that in order to maintain healthy dogs, the puppies and their mom need 3 weeks after the birth before they are prepared for visitors.   Are huskies easy to train? Huskies are intelligent dogs and learn quickly. We've had buyers ask if we'd house-trained the puppies before they left the kennel because they were trained so easily.   What is an accepted method of payment? We accept cash or Interac email money transfers. We only accept personal cheques for deposits.   How can I reserve a puppy with specific eye/coat colouring? A $200.00 deposit will reserve the next puppy born which meets your requirements.   How soon can a puppy leave your kennel? A puppy is old enough to leave its mom when it reaches 8 weeks of age, and has received its vaccination needle.   How do I set up an appointment to meet the puppies? Email us at info@kybrakennels.ca letting us know when a good time would be for you to come out. Note that we are closed on Sunday's.   What colour eyes do your puppies have? Our most common eye colour is brown. We have blue-eyed as well, along with bi-eyed blue and brown.   Are huskies OK with other animals and children? Huskies get along fine with whatever they grow up with. Many of our puppy buyers have cats as well, and the cats and dog turn out to be great friends.   What are their temperaments like? Our huskies are both friendly and gentle, with outgoing personalities and eager, happy dispositions.   How big will a Siberian Husky grow? Males range in height from 21-24 inches at the shoulder and weigh up to 60 pounds. Females stand from 20-22 inches and wigh 34-50 pounds. Of course it depends on genetics, our moms vary in size.   Do Siberian Huskies shed? Yes, they shed twice a year, but if the dog is brushed regularly, it minimizes the shedding.   Would you fly a puppy to us? Yes, we can fly a puppy to an airport near you. The airlines rquire that the puppy be 8 weeks of age before flying. We will need to add the cost of an airline-approved kennel for the puppy, as well as delivery to our airport.   Are your dogs CKC registered? Yes, they are. Each of our adult dogs have their Canadian Kennel Club registration certificates. As soon as we have the new puppy owner's information each of the puppies are registered with the CKC as well.
